Devon MacKay is a photographer who plays with the anachronistic elements of earlier times juxtaposed against the contemporary urban landscape. My style is intended to evoke a mood of grit, menace, and fatalism, similar to the Film Noir movement of the 1940s and '50s. I believe that it is only in the calmest hours of the night that we are given a somber glimpse at the beating heart of the city.
